Thursday, May 29, 2008, 2:37 AM My new shoes I got new school shoes! The old one's gonna die already. Normally I wouldnt care less, but these are so nice :) This is the outer side: Oh dear it's pink. :O How come everything of mine is pink lately?! Well at least it can match my pink watches. Okay pink isnt that horrible a colour actually, depends on the context. Like for school shoes. School shoes are already as boring and ugly as they can get, what with all those rules and such. Black designs wouldnt be much, cos it'll still look boring, a few random black stripes and stuff here and there. But in my opinion pink makes it look...less conformed? But for normal sneakers for wearing outside, between an all black pair and an all pink pair, I'd choose the all black. Urgh I dont know how to explain this. I'm just weird this way. At first there were some stupid han yu pin yin words on it, but I got rid of them with my fabric paint. The first lot of words were above the pink dots, where that pink rectangle is. The second lot of words were beside the pink line at the bottom of the shoe, where that other pink rectangle is. Clever right ^_^ My bro couldnt tell. Made in Chna, clearly. I know I said I'm boycotting Chna, but...some things cant be helped lah. Like if its something that wont harm me, then I'll buy it. I mean how can a shoe kill me? Not like im gonna eat it or anything. Food is another story. I'm never gonna eat anything from there ever again. Oh and waterbottles. I've had one bad experience with Chna waterbottles and I don't ever intend on trying again. And who knows what kind of stuff I'm drinking, it could be lead paint on the walls of the bottle. I paid 8 bucks for that damn waterbottle cos at the side it said "Smash, Australia" So I thought it was made in Aussie. But then it spoilt after less than 2 months of usage, and then I realised that the bottom said "Made In Chna". Kaka also had the same problem with the same kind of bottle. Okay why am I talking about lousy Chna goods, I'm supposed to be boasting about my nice shoes! This is the inner side: And this is my favourite part, the backside! : GUITARS! Plus three tiny silver stars. What could be more perfect? :) It's what made me buy the shoes in the first place. If they werent there I probably wouldnt have bought them you know. Okay I'm off to watch Zack And Cody now! Yeah yeah it's for kids but it's so damn hilarious! Plus I dont have cable TV (they're showing it on Kidscentral for the hols) so it's not often that I get to watch a kids show which is un-kiddy enough for me. Bye! Wednesday, May 28, 2008, 8:43 PM I am so artistic Drew this when I was bored. Yeah I know, this is extremely sweety poo stuff and so not me, but I had no intention of drawing it at first. I was drawing a girl and for some reason I decided to give her one of those ancient fairytale type dresses, then the swing popped up from nowhere, and if you've got a swing, you've gotta have a tree. And if you've got greenery and a pretty girl, you have to have a butterfly around. And then after that all those other stuff popped up too to join the girl. I'm quite proud of it actually. :D Then I wanted to redraw the pic, but only in silouhette (sp?) form. But I didn't know how to, it kept getting screwy. So I coloured everything in with microsoft paint. (Except the flowery frame at the corners. I used Photoscape for that) Decided to get rid of the butterfly though, cos it kept looking like some demented spiky thing floating around in the air. And I shifted the tree abit, cos I realised that in the original pic, the swing is way to high up from the ground. She'd have to climb up the tree and jump to get on the swing! Oh yeah btw this is the pink pic that was mentioned in the previous post. My purpose for doing this silouhette thing was actually to draw onto a plain t-shirt using fabric markers, but then I don't think it'll work very nicely cos its such a big area to colour, and I'm afraid everything will get all seepy and look cheap. I'm very scared that the liney pen strokes will be able to be seen, then not nice already. Hey don't you think it looks like one of those pics you find in a blogskin? I wouldnt use a blogskin with this kind of picture, though. How ironic. Hmm it would look good on a file too. There's another one I drew here: Lol look at her minah eyeliner-ed eyes! I don't find this as nice as the one with the girl on the swing though. I think it's cos her face is not as nice. Looks abit fat to me. And I don't quite like the mouth. I can't draw sad mouths much. :( A random photo: It's the science lab sink. Pretty right! It makes a nice MSN display pic. We were doing gram staining (staining bacteria to find out what type it is. Or something along the lines. Does it matter, Bio exams are long over anyway.)and we had to use these wonderfully colourful liquids to do it. Then mine and Messed Up's fingers started to get itchy so we dropped random drops of the liquids into the sink and mixed them with water, just to see the swirly effect. ^_^ That little brown splotch in the right hand side is iodine. I heard that iodine can stain, so I tried staining a heart onto my hand, but it never stayed. :( I kind of miss Bio lessons, especially all the crazy lab lessons with Messed Up where we, uh, messed up. (We were lab partners) We would always* screw up our experiments, then end up doing them anyhow and just playing around with the stuff. I have to admit most of the screw ups were my fault =X Hehe. And writing song lyrics during the non-lab lessons with Messed Up at the back of the class where Ms Yeo couldnt really see us, that was so fun. (She mustve thought we were taking notes) Though most of them dont have tunes yet so you cant really call them songs. Poems? o_O I feel weird when I say "I was writing poetry" instead of "I was writing song lyrics". Sounds too...intellectual for me? Haha. Bio is the only Science module I can tolerate. I can even say I like it. Chem was a killer with all that memorizing, and the teacher...let's just say she's not exactly a good friend of mine. Physics was just boring shit, fullstop. And Bio was the only Science module which I scored well for. I failed my Chem, and just barely passed Physics. Bio I got like 72 %. DONT LAUGH AND DONT JUDGE. You've got your standards, I've got mine, you can be an over achieving mugger all you want, but 70 and above is already good enough for me. Oh crap Shut Up And Drive is stuck in my head. Then when I went to pee during the break, I discovered that some toilet paper got stuck on my ass and my thighs, so I had to laboriously peel it off. That took away quite some time of my break, and it didnt help that the toilet smelt like shit. Then on the way home, I kena stomach cramps, plus I was very hungry, so that was a double whammy. I felt like the walking dead. [This part has been deleted cos it may get me into trouble] I went home and lao sai, then after lying down for awhile, I chucked up on the floor 4 times straight and my poor ahmah had to clean it up. And that it was an expensive one too. I say ORH BI QUEK. Thursday, May 22, 2008, 1:05 AM DAVID COOK, AMERICAN IDOL! *HEY EVERYONE, DAVID COOK* IS 2008'S AMERICAN IDOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so happy for him! He has been my favourite ever since Danny got booted. His voice is so sexy! And it's damn powerful, it's almost impossibly unreal. He can sing any song, even the most disgusting of disgusting songs, and make it sound good. I was getting really scared for him, cos I know alot of crazy teenage fangirls and old grannies would vote for David Archuleta. But hey, he did win in the end! I don't know why Simon kept slamming him yesterday. Especially his second song. It was freaking awesome and I could have listened to it a hundred times, but Simon didn't like it, and kept saying "Round 1 goes to Archuleta", "Round 2 goes to Archuleta", Archuleta this Archuleta that. Hurh no taste! Not that David Archuleta isnt good lah, and not that I dislike him or anything. His voice is really good for a 17 year old. But it's just not my type, its too sweet and clean. And he only sings those kind of slow slow ballad type things, but David Cook can sing anything, from hard rock to sentimental etc etc. And David Cook is an awesome performer, I like the way he rocks out with his trademark AC guitar, and I can feel high watching it even though I'm not the one playing the guitar. And Archuleta moves weirdly. Like he is constantly constipated. And then for some reason he has this kind of poot face when receiving the judges comments, like he screws up his eyes and gets all weird and moves stiffly. Not that he is ugly or anything. He's cute lah. But in that baby baby i-want-to-pinch-your-cheeks kind of cute, not the ooh-so-handsome-i-want-you-for-my-boyfriend kind of cute. The security guard wasnt in his usual spot at the security guard post, and instead, in that place, there was a random RI dude talking to a giant rabbit. The giant rabbit was actually another random RI dude in a rabbit suit lah. They were promoting something (I cant remember what) and wanted supporters or something like that, I dont know, I wasnt paying attention to what they were saying. But the rabbit had nothing to do with whatever they were talking about. Maybe he just dressed up as a rabbit in hope that random RGS girls would go and up and hug him or something. I'm sure everyone knows about Pretz, that Pocky lookalike which has no cream, and has used it at one point in time of their lives or another, be it to pick their noses, conduct an orchestra performance, or, if they're cheapo enough, use them as birthday candles.
